Oil on canvas, 74.5 x 49cm (image), 92 x 66.5cm (frame). Signed and dated lower left, signature appears to read ‘J. B. Hoya’, titled ‘BUBBLES’ lower right. Some minor paint loss and scuffing. The antique frame with interlocking floral and leaf design, wear and scratches but overall nice condition. A skillful copy of Sir John Everett Millais’ original, which was famously used for Pears Soap promotions. Available for local pickup, otherwise courier to be arranged and paid for by bidder.
