Germany, Albert Bredow (1828-1899) (Attributed), ‘Winter Landscape’,

Lacquered print on board, approx. 47 x 64cm (image), 64 x 82cm (frame). No signature visible, but stylistically similar to the romanticised winter scenes of Albert Bredow and his circle. Varnish uneven at top right, yellowing, light craquelure and a few small nicks to the surface, the frame in good condition.
Provenance: Brought to Australia from Ireland in the early 1900s by the vendor’s great grandparents, reframed in the last century.
