Oil on board, 39.5 x 50cm (image), 54 x 65cm (frame). Signed lower right. Some spotting notable mainly in top quarter, the frame aged and chipped. Wildflowers surrounded by boulders in the Australian scrub, painted using a generous impasto technique enlivened by vibrant yellows, red ochres and fuchsia pink. An accomplished landscape artist, Kellick’s work is held by Sarjeant Gallery (New Zealand) and in private collections throughout the world.
