Oil on composition board, 19.5 x 25cm (image), 32 x 38cm (frame). Signed lower left, titled and dated on reverse. Some minor spotting and wear to artwork, the frame aged with foxing. A richly coloured rural landscape, the loose brushstrokes capture an evocative impression of light falling upon farm buildings, grazing sheep and surrounding hillside. Available for local pickup, otherwise courier to be arranged and paid for by bidder.
The town of Brightwater is located southwest of Nelson in the Tasman district, on New Zealand’s South Island.
