New Zealand born and now based in New South Wales, celebrated landscape painter Ramon Ward-Thompson has established a successful studio practice over more than 40 years. Grandson of the artist Herbert Ward-Thompson, Ramon is know for his interpretations of the Australian bush as well as a variety of more contemporary scenes, rendered with a characteristic soft focus and subtle attention to light. Ramon’s work, strongly influenced by the Impressionist masters, is represented in numerous international and national institutions as well as private collections.
