Founded by Bob and Jacquie Innes, who saw an opportunity to empower a local community of collectors to buy and sell with confidence, Roxbury’s held consistent in-room auctions on George Street for decades.

Bob and Jacquie forged Roxbury’s reputation as one of the most professional, service-driven and reliable Australian auction houses in the industry, providing a seamless consignment journey and constantly bringing up great results under the hammer.

Now, 40 years on from those humble beginnings, the Innes’ legacy of trust and service endures, fueling Roxbury’s continued growth and success.

In 2020, Roxbury’s amalgamated with Imperial Group, an independent collective of leading Australian brands, which has enabled the development of Roxbury’s online capabilities and extension of services offered.

Corporate partnerships were introduced, leading Roxbury’s to be the first and only Australian auction house to offer Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS) and Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) grading services.

In 2024, Roxbury’s announced the expansion of their operations with the opening of satellite offices in Sydney, Melbourne, and Noosa, making it easier for more Australians to access trusted auction expertise in-person.
